Christmas Is Coming … Bid for Charity

Private Dinner With Christopher Radko

It’s an ornament collector’s dream … a private one-on-one dinner and conversation with Christopher Radko. Although he is no longer personally involved in ornament design and manufacture, Radko is largely responsible for the resurgence of the glass ornament industry.

Christopher will host one lucky bidder to dinner at Scarletta’s in New York City.  In addition to dinner and conversation, the charity auction package includes a Radko signed ornament and a signed copy of his book, The Heart of Christmas. The auction proceeds are designated to Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical organization working in nearly 70 countries, including the United States. Christopher Radko Image

Here’s your rare opportunity — holiday lifestyle expert Christopher Radko’s undivided attention!  Get personal decorating advice, the story behind your favorite Radko ornament designs — and it’s for charity!

The auction package is valued at $1000.  Bidding ends Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00:00 PM EST.  To place your bid, visit charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/275161.

I’m a huge patriotic collector so expect to see many of Debbee’s newest Fourth of July designs to be featured in the summer issue of Celebrate365.

To purchase any of these whimsical spring styles, visit Kitty’s Ltd. Kitty is a Celebrate365 advertiser and has the largest selection on the web. If you want it, Kitty will definitely try to make your wish come true!

Debbee Thibault signed postcard While at AtlantasMart, I always try to come home with some little goodies to offer to readers. Here’s the first one for 2011!

Debbee Thibault offered this personally signed Pitiful Pearl figure all dressed in her Easter finery.

Farewell to Halloween Give-Away

Do You Etsy?

My online life changed when a Celebrate365 subscriber in Houston suggested that I visit Etsy. She advised that I would find a variety of up and coming artists there. She was right! Many well-known folk artists still maintain shops there.

I love Etsy because it’s often a platform for new artists to lauch their lines and refine their ideas and designs. It can take a lot of browsing time, but it’s fun to "discover" talented artists who are just starting out.

Like what you see here? Take a look at their Etsy shops for a wider selection. Then, don’t forget to visit our Farewell to Halloween Give Away! The items pictured below are part of the festivities. You only have to leave a comment to participate. That’s easy!
