If you own the De Carlini reference book (Soffieria De Carlini, a family legacy), you’ll recognize this smiling from the 1960s (pg. 24). He has a cowboy’s bowed legs and he carries a “six-shooter. But this “cowpoke” looks anything by scary! He wears a wide-brimmed hat with a glittered gold band, a green shirt, gold pants and a jaunty red “scarf” around his neck. And, then … there is that shiny gold star on his chest. He’s a character out of the old west.
If you collect early Italian Christopher Radko ornaments, you might recall a “super-sized” version that De Carlini produced as part of the 1994-1995 Radko line.
