Fairisle refers to a traditional knitting technique named after an island belonging to the Shetland Islands north of Scotland. It is characterized by bands of multicolored geometric patterns.

Fair Isle “A” is an oval teardrop. It features verticle bands in red, white and gold, patterened with jeweled flowers and hearts.
