Created in Germany’s Ino Schaller Workshop, 3.5” high Krampus figure is molded from paper mache. Artists hand paint the miniature figure, apply glitter and tiny black beads to create the coat, and attach branches.
Who is Krampus?
According to popular legend, in southern Germany and Austria, Krampus is a half-goat, half-devil who punishes misbehaving children during the Christmas season. He parades with St. Nicholas during holiday celebrations.
Krampus is believed to have originated in Germany and his name comes form the German word “Krampen” which mean “claw.”
