Christopher Radko: The First Decade, 1986-1995
by Christopher Radko
This is a reference book in the best sense and the first and only of its genre. Christopher Radko created the "rebirth" of the glass ornament industry with a fledgling line in 1985. Within ten years, Radko had recreated and restyled thousands of designs reminiscent of the 1940s and 1950s that had once graced his family's tree. As the popularity of his offerings expanded to stores across America as well as to national stores, he branched out with inventive designs of his own.
The First Decade is a must-have for any serious contemporary ornament collector. While it includes information about the production process, most importantly, the books serves as a catalog of the styles and colorations produced during Christopher Radko's first ten years in business. It is a "go-to" reference for ornament names, style numbers and production years.
The books offered here were purchased directly from old store stock and are still shrink-wrapped.
